We select only high-calibre participants who are looking for a new intellectual challenge and who either wish to specialise further in their chosen careers or who wish to move into broader management roles or who simply wish to top up their knowledge.
Specialised Masters
All specialist programmes provide candidates with a thorough grounding in the essentials of leadership and management, and offer the chance to attain further advanced knowledge and skills in specific management disciplines. Programmes are taught in English through a series of lectures, tutorials and interactive study-group work. If you would like to invest in specialist TiasNimbas Master’s, you should be proficient in English and possess a Bachelors degree. Work experience is preferred but not necessary.
MA in International Business and Marketing Management
The MA in International Business and Marketing Management exposes participants to the latest research in international business and marketing theory and practice. It is offered in Utrecht on a one-year full-time and two-year part-time basis. The full-time programme attracts participants from all over the world who have recently graduated from their bachelor studies and want to continue their education with a master before starting their professional career. Most part-time students already have some work experience and would like to either move more quickly into a managerial position or make a career move into the field of marketing. The format of one long weekend per month attracts participants from the Benelux and Germany.
The MA programme, divided into three stages, exposes participants to the latest research in international business and marketing theory and practice. On the Foundation Course candidates follow six compulsory modules which introduce them to business and marketing concepts, such as Marketing Management, Business Economics and Strategic Management. For the Advanced Course candidates begin to specialise in their subject. Strategic Marketing, Mastering E-Commerce, Marketing Communication, and International Marketing modules are compulsory. Two further elected modules can be selected by the candidate to complete this stage. The programme concludes with the Thesis Project, an original investigative report of a specific marketing or business issue. The report must be 19,000 – 22,000 words in length.
MSc in Financial Management
The MSc in Financial Management views finance from a strategic perspective, focusing on the key elements of business in creating and measuring value, and has an international emphasis. It is offered in Utrecht on a one-year full-time and two-year part-time basis. The full-time programme attracts participants from all over the world who have recently graduated from their bachelor studies and want to continue their education with a master before starting their professional career. Most part-time students already have some work experience and would like to either move more quickly into a managerial position or make a career move into the field of marketing.
