Implementing Business Applications
To be able to change the overall information strategy of an organisation, it is paramount to acquire an insight into the rapid development and implementation of business applications. In order to accelerate this process an in-depth knowledge regarding business processes and the role of information and business applications is required. This course in implementing Business Applications will focus on developing business modelling skills. As a graduate you will probably be confronted with the decision processes a Chief Information Officer (CIO) is facing today. Topics such as managing the IT infrastructure, IT outsourcing and offshore outsourcing in a global context. The centralised/decentralised role of the IT department, and managing security, privacy, and identity in global companies are also addressed.
