This Master?s programme is characterised by a carefully selected combination of theory and practice in the fields of financial business economics and control. The programme consists of two closely connected streams: Accounting
and Finance and Accounting, Auditing & Control. The study also covers problems that management faces and offers new and alternative ideas to support management.

Applicants for the MSc in Economics & Business programmes should hold a university Bachelor?s degree that our Examination Board considers equivalent to a Bachelor of Science diploma in Economics & Business from Erasmus School of Economics. Applicants are expected to have a solid background in economics, preferably with a Bachelor?s degree in economics or business. Students who have obtained a related Bachelor?s degree from a HBO university of higher professional education rather than a university must first take a one-year Pre-Master?s programme.

The Accounting, Auditing & Control specialisation provides the perfect preparation for post-graduate training in order to become a chartered accountant (RA) or a chartered controller (RC). The all-round character of the Accounting and Finance programme perfectly suits the demands of small-to-medium sized enterprises, which look for business economists who can excel in a broad range of activities.
