The aging of the population raises numerous economic issues and policy questions.The programme offers a broad overview of economics, with a focus on aging related issues.

This MSc program offers a broad overview of economics (and even beyond), with a focus on aging related issues. Topics include: Macroeconomics of Aging Labor Force Participation and Retirement Investment Analysis Health Insurance and Health Care To address the macro-economic and institutional issues, it is necessary to understand how incentives created by pensions and social insurance affect the behavior of individuals and households, such as their labor force participation and their consumption and savings decisions. All developed countries are trying to improve their specific system. Understanding of the implications of the design of such systems and their consequences for all aspects of pensions, retirement, human capital and saving will be one of the main features of this MSc program.
