Human Resource Studies

This unique multidisciplinary Master focuses on issues relating to Human Resource policy, whereby people are seen as a resource in which companies need to invest.

It is a unique multidisciplinary degree program at a high academic level for people who wish to study the broad field of people, labor and organizations. Central to the Master's program in Human Resource Studies is a constant encounter with academic research. In preparation for later professional practice you are educated in analyzing Human Resource (HR) issues. Attention is specifically paid to: the recognition and identification of problems in the field of HR, the strategic Human Resource Management (HRM) and HR Development, the relationship between HRM and the achievements of individuals and organizations, the implementation of new HR policy in relation to organizational change, the management of diversity, the foundation of HR decisions and consultancy on HR decisions. Through specific training you also work on the development of personal skills relevant to an HR professional. For the final thesis you conduct an extensive empirical research.
