Constitutional Principles of International and European Law
The Master's programme Constitutional Principles of International and European Law was designed particularly for students who have an interest in the fundamental issues underlying the international and European legal order, such as the protection of human rights, international labour law standards, international criminal law, constitutional questions in relation to international legislation, as well as in issues of legal protection on the European and the international level. Students entering the programme should have a demonstrably high level of academic achievement and an interest in international and trans-national issues.

Students who have earned a Bachelor's degree from another programme of the Faculty of Law of Tilburg University may be admitted to the programme, if necessary, under the condition that they successfully follow supplementary courses or undertake supervised reading, in particular on EU/EC law and/or international law prior to the beginning of the programme or in the course of their first semester. Students who have earned a Bachelor's degree in law from an institution of higher education in the Netherlands other than a university may be admitted to the Master's programme, provided that they successfully follow appropriate supplementary courses before the beginning of the programme.The programme will prepare students for legal practice, such as posts withing national and international public administration, national and international governmental organisations (NGOs), the diplomatic service, European and international courts, multinational enterprises, and advocacy.
